Press and brand

If you are writing about Spendlint, listing it in a directory, or putting it on your own site, take what you need from this page. No need to ask first.

What Spendlint is

Copy either of these rather than paraphrasing. They are the descriptions we keep current.

One line

Spendlint reads a company’s cloud bill and finds the spend that is buying nothing.

A paragraph

Spendlint is a read-only service that examines an organisation’s Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS and Atlassian accounts and reports the money being spent on things nobody is using: idle machines, unassigned licences, storage attached to nothing. Every finding arrives with the evidence behind it, the command to act on it and the command that undoes it, and the work is left to the customer: Spendlint changes nothing in the accounts it reads. A later bill is checked against the report, so a saving is only counted once it has actually happened.

The logo

A highlighter’s wave under a struck line: what someone does to a bill they have been through. Right-click to save, or use the links under each one.

Prefer the SVG wherever it will render. It stays sharp at any size, and the PNGs are there for the places that will not take one.

Colours

Two, and a white ground. Read from the stylesheet this page is painted with, so they are the colours the product actually uses.

#ffe14d Highlighter yellow The brand's one colour
#0d0d0d Ink Type, rules and the mark's tile
#ffffff Paper The ground everything sits on

The yellow is the brand’s one colour and is never a status colour. Green, ochre and red say what state something is in. Type is Space Grotesk for sentences and JetBrains Mono for figures and commands; both are open licensed, so you are free to set our name in them.
